Birth story

It was Sunday, March 23rd. I was full term- 40 weeks pregnant and it was my due date :) Ha.
I felt tired and uncomfortable all day just like every pregnant woman does .
Brad ,my mom and I went shopping that day but it was pretty hard for me to walk..

At about 9 pm that night I called to the hospital because I felt really uncomfortable pressure ..there were no contractions or pain  just a heavy pressure on my lower belly...
They told me that it sounds normal and if I don't have contractions I should just stay home...

2 hours later I had strong contractions within 3-5 min apart...went down stairs to tell Brad and we quickly rushed to the hospital. As we entered the door my water broke. They checked me and I was 5 sm dilated.

  Within an hour I asked for an epidural because my contractions were getting stronger and stronger... I was so ready to meet our little boy! I couldn't wait to experience it all over again ..that sweet baby smell, tiny little toes and preciseness.

The epidural slowed it down a little. Once I was fully dilated the midwife got everything ready... I pushed once and she told me to stop because he was coming out all on him own :) I started to laugh and he came right out! Samson was born at  5:46 am on Monday 3-24-2014! He was 6 pounds 14 ounces and 20.5  inches long! My little boy was so perfect!!!

                                     I am so thankful to God for a healthy boy and easy delivery!

Hello there...

                                                   Hi there...this is Samson.
He is 5.5 months old and I am very excited to finally introduce him to you all. He is a very happy, active,beautiful little boy and I can't wait to share his birth story and his newborn photos! But first I just wanted to say hi.

It has  been months  since I've blogged. My last post was about my pregnancy... so I decided to start with a baby introduction :) But there have been tons of changes in our family. We moved to Charlotte NC,bought a new house, had a baby, my almost 3 year old started preschool.. And oh I started to paint again (but this is a separate post that I'm going to share with you all very soon).   So many exciting news with life!!!

Our baby #2

I am so excited to announce our big news that we are expecting our second baby on March 23,  2014 :)

I am currently 15.5 weeks and feel much better now. My first trimester went pretty well except for the nausea I had every night. My energy level is on and off and I am craving everything salty & fruity (which is just like I had with my first pregnancy) :)
Currently the baby is: about 4 1/2 inches and weighs about 2.5 ounces...which is about the size of a navel orange.

Nolan turns 2!

 Happy Birthday to my son Nolan! I can't believe how fast time goes. It's been an amazing 2 years together since I gave you birth on September 30 th 2011. You entered this world with wide open beautiful big eyes and we fell in love with you immediately! Every day with you has been an adventure! You are so happy, smart and quick learning. Your love, hugs and kisses warms my heart and brings smile to my face even on the grey days. I cant believe how much you have changed  during this year , you love to talk and say pretty much every word now. We are so amazed how big is your vocabulary. We are so looking forward to this upcoming year with you. May God continue to bless you! We love you!

We were suppose to have a birthday party held on Sunday the day before Nolan's real birthday. But my little boy unexpectedly got sick on the night before. We actually had to take him to ER. He had high fever, strong cough and a weird sound with it. Thanks God it wasn't pneumonia, but he did have an ear infection... We got back home at around 2 am ... The birthday party was canceled.

On Monday we did celebrate it as a family. It was a beautiful sunny day just like the day when he was born . We took some family pics, Nolan blew out the candles,opened the gifts and we all enjoyed his birthday cake!

Right after he blew out the candles he said: "cut cake" :)

I decorated it in an airplane theme. I did some research and put my creativity together and it turned out beautiful!
