MOPS

Hi everyone,

So today was my first time at MOPS and Nolan's first time in a nursery room. I was so excited. :)
It was great to meet with other moms and to be able to talk and share.
This year 's MOPS international theme is Plunge: Love as if your life depended on it. The key verse was 1 Peter 4:8 " Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins"
We all should use whatever gift we have received from God to serve others.
MOPS is a great place where moms can learn and grow together while building authentic relationships with other moms.
I am looking forward to our next meeting.
Here are couple of pictures from today :

                                                               all ready to go :)

After MOPS :)

Even though Nolan missed his normal nap time, he did take a nap at home for 3 hours which doesn't happen at all for that long.

Apple orchard

We had a nice weekend. It was beautiful out as for Minnesota it's been pretty warm and dry September (I am happy about that).
We decided to take a trip to an apple orchard. We went to Emma Krumbees orchard which is South from us. They also had a cute bakery , restaurant , pony rides (Josie loved the pony ride) and icecream store there.

                                                                   tractor ride

Nolan really enjoyed it . He was riding in a wagon with Josie and was so happy about that. We didn't pick  apples but ended up buying them at their store since the apples we liked weren't ready yet but will be at the end of the months. We also bought some home made apple pie it was delicious. After, we took a little ride in the down town. I love small towns! People are so nice and welcoming, cute little streets and simplicity of it are the best .

Show us your favorite beauty products

 Hello everyone,
Today I'm linking up to Kelly's Korner for show us your life series!
Kelly's Korner I love make up, but I don't like to feel to much on my face.  I usually wear a neutral colors for my eyes and lips. I like a light foundation  and lately I've been using this Mary Kay mineral Powder foundation. It's working great for me. I also use their Timewise age fighting moisturizer and under eye cream , its oil and fragrance free  and  it really cares for my skin well!

I also like LANCOME Teint idole fresh wear 18 hour Shine free SPF 15
I purchased it before my wedding. I was really satisfied with this product since then. :)

For my eyes I also use Lancome eye shadow

Lancome  Subtil shimmer Delicate oil free powder blush

I use Garnier anti-dark circle eye roller . Lack of sleep with the baby really made me have those dark circles.  I got it at Target. It really hides dark circle and doesn't look like you   really applied any product,it also blends with your skin well.

Lancome eyeliner in dark brown

My favorite fragrance is Versace bright Crystal .It's very romantic and fresh smell.

I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and coming weekend.  :)

Last week

It's been a long time since I bloged last.  Life is good. Our family is doing great too. Last time my post was about that we are expecting a baby...Well time is flying so fast our baby Nolan is growing so fast He is a happy and healthy little boy all full of energy.I can't believe he is 11 months and at the end of the months we will be celebrating his 1st birthday. The planning is all in process. We decided on a"little prince" theme birthday party. The invitations are out, outfit is picked up, cake is ordered :) Yesterday I stopped at Michaels and picked up some cute decor things for the party.

Here is couple pics of our little boy from newborn to now :)

This one is my favorite. Nolan was couple hours old here. Isn't he cute?

                                                                 walking in the park

                                                             11 months old. Already?

fun time in a tub, and yeah cool hair do :)

Kids are back to school. Nolan is really missing them during the day. He loves to play with them.

Brad is working on some projects around the house. One of the biggest was to paint the deck

Last week Brad asked me to help him with an interesting project. It was a team building event at his work and it was a butter sculpture contest. So my husband volunteered to do that for his team ( since he thought his wife is an artist he decided to take a chance).

It was fun. I've never made a sculpture especially out of butter. I love to draw and paint pictures (watercolor,oil...) but sculpturing was something new for me.

So here is the result. We took  first place!

Sunday football game. We all had our jerseys on :)
